Terms of Service
Last updated October 13, 2026
These terms cover your use of Postlite, its website, app, API and browser extension ("Postlite", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Postlite, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Postlite.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract.
- Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- If you use Postlite for a business, you accept these terms for that business.
Connected accounts
When you connect X, Threads or another platform, you let Postlite act on that account only in the ways you choose: reading your profile, posts and mentions, and publishing posts you write or approve. You must follow each platform's own rules, including the X Rules, the Meta Terms, the TikTok Terms of Service and the YouTube Terms of Service. A platform may limit, change or end API access at any time, and we are not responsible when that affects Postlite.
Acceptable use
Do not use Postlite to:
- send spam, or unsolicited replies or mentions in bulk;
- run automated replies to people who have not engaged with you;
- mislead people about who you are, or run fake or coordinated accounts;
- harass, threaten or target anyone, or post illegal content;
- break the rules of any connected platform;
- scrape, resell or reverse engineer Postlite, or get around rate limits and credits.
Editors and suggestions only prepare drafts. You decide what gets posted, and you are responsible for it.
Your content
You own what you write and upload. You give us a limited licence to store, process and publish it only to run Postlite for you. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law.
AI output
Postlite uses AI to score writing and draft posts and replies. AI output can be wrong, unoriginal or unsuitable. Review everything before you post it. Scores, including Slop Check reports, are automated opinions about writing style, not statements of fact about any person.
Plans, credits and billing
- Paid plans bill monthly in US dollars through Stripe and renew until you cancel. See pricing for current plans.
- You can cancel any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Monthly credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. Posts, credits and pulls from purchased packs do not expire while your account is open.
- Fees are not refunded for partial months or unused credits, except where the law requires it.
- We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change.
Browser extension
The extension reads post text on supported sites to score it and show stats. It never posts. You can remove it at any time from your browser.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Postlite running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. Scheduled posts can fail when a platform is down or rejects a post. We may change or remove features, and we will tell you in advance about changes that significantly reduce what a paid plan includes.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, or ask us to by emailing privacy@postlite.app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put Postlite, its users or connected platforms at risk. Where we can, we will warn you first.
Disclaimers and liability
Postlite is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost followers or reach. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or CA$100. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Using Postlite after that date means you accept the new terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. Legal notices go to privacy@postlite.app.
Contact
Questions or requests go to our Privacy Officer at privacy@postlite.app. We reply within 30 days.
